ITV's Lorraine Show use Location Ref 3118W for cookery feature
We were briefed by ITV in May to find a location which had a hob on the kitchen island for this shoot for the Lorraine Show. They needed the hob on the island so that the presenters, Gaynor Faye and Jennie McAlpine could be cooking whilst facing the camera, so there also needed to be a good depth of shot for the cameras.
The feature was Corrie V Emmerdale, and Gaynor made delicious griddled mackerel and asparagus and for dessert Gaynor's rhubarb crème brulee - naturally using Yorkshire's finest ingredients!
Thankfully, we had the perfect location in Leeds (Location Ref: 3118W) and ITV said yes straight away. We were lucky enough to go and watch behind the scenes, and the crew and cast were lovely.
There was a moment when the location owner's cat attempted to jump up and steal the mackerel, but thankfully he was stopped just in time!
